Did you know that a man in China also entered a school the same day as the CT shooting in order to harm children. He slashed 22 children but no one was killed. He was armed with a knife rather than a gun. Many cite this as an example of why guns should be less accessible because they feel that if he had been in America, he would likely have been armed with a gun and he would've likely killed some of those 22 children. Do you agree?
Yes, I believe if he was American he would've used a gun and guns are much more deadly than waving a knife around. If there were less guns that were easily accessible then disturbed people with an impulse to kill would have to grab something else and like

No, there is no way to know he would've used a gun if he was in American instead of China or that it would've been more deadly

Nancy Lanza, the mother of the shooter in the CT case, who was also killed was an avid gun collector and enthusiast and often went target shooting with her son. She felt teaching her son about guns would be a positive thing to teach responsibility and boost his confidence. If there's any indication that a child has anger issues they should not let them near guns at all?
