A 15-year-old Icelandic girl has brought a suit against the state for the right to use her birth name Blaer. The name is not on the approved list of female names as it is perceived as masculine. Like Iceland, a few other countries, including Germany and Denmark, have official rules on what a baby can be named. Do you agree with this?
