Canadian politician Justin Trudeau admitted to smoking marijuana in a candid interview with the Huffington Post. Trudeau’s decision to come clean about smoking marijuana is largely due to the reason that he is trying to create a policy to legalize marijuana. Currently the marijuana prohibition policy costs $500 million a year and has left 475,000 people with criminal records since 2006.
