Schools these days seem to believe by banning things, they make a safer and happier environment for all students. Some of these bans make sense, such as a zero tolerance and total ban on bullying, but others...well, see for yourself!

No more red pens for marking tests in the UK. The stigma carried by the red ink led some schools to ban it. Some schools in the US have also adopted this, opting for other, less "aggressive" colors. Had you ever felt threatened by the dreaded "red ink" on a test or paper?

Any visual depiction or written reference to evolution was banned after a Missouri high school marching band created a t-shirt saying "Evolution of Brass."
