Outcome - needless to say, this didn't turn out well for the rebels, but they had the final "blow". There was a four part mini series on Masada in 1981 I find well done. This is the entire first episode I don't expect any one to watch, but opening minutes show the place, explains significance. Plus a great Jerry Goldsmith score. Anyone on TW visited this place?
