The phantom ship - the crew hang the dead bird from a chain about the Mariner's neck. Water, water everywhere, not a drop to drink. Phantom ship with Death and Life in Death rolling dice. Crew drop dead other than the Mariner. Screwed that one up, didn't he? Ever feel you made a really bad mistake?

The song- Oddly enough, heavy metal band Iron Maiden did a song about this (1984) which I find well done. Tells the tale, some actual quotes, sound fits for the most part. Close to 14 minutes, but here you go if wanted. Do you have any song you like longer than the average three to four minutes?
