- Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World is a 1932 dystopian novel set in a futuristic "World State" where human beings are mass-produced in laboratories, rigidly divided into intellectual castes, and conditioned to value mindless consumerism, promiscuity, and instant gratification over freedom, art, and deep emotion.
