Hill also helped McGraw battle a serious case of alcoholism. He said in an interview, "When your wife tells you it's gone too far, that's a big wake-up call."

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton - After filing for divorce from Gavin Rossdale, pop icon Stefani announced in November 2015 that she had been dating her fellow coach from the hit reality show "The Voice." Together, they wrote the song "Go Ahead and Break My Heart," which they performed live on the show in 2016.

Johnny Cash and June Carter - In 1956, back when Carter was a backup singer for Elvis Presley and Cash was on his way to becoming one of the greatest country acts of all time, the two met at the Grand Ole Opry concert hall in Nashville. Even though Cash was married then, he was charmed by the singer and proposed to her on several occasions. She finally agreed when he popped the question to her in the middle of a live concert in front of thousands of spectators. After Cash filed for divorce, they married on March 1, 1968. Cash passed away in September 2003, only three months after his wife's death.

Brittany Kerr and Jason Aldean - After being spotted together at a bar with former "American Idol" contestant Brittany Kerr while he was married to his first wife, Aldean admitted later that he "acted inappropriately" at that moment. Later, after his divorce in April 2012, Aldean and Kerr started dating and eventually tied the knot on March 21, 2015. In May 2017, the couple announced they were expecting their first child together.

Joey and Rory Feek - As Joey + Rory, the duo brought out hist albums such as "Hymns That Are Important to Us," "His and Hers" and "The Life of a Song." After being married for nearly 14 years, Joey died at the age of 40, suffering from cervical cancer, on March 4, 2016. Together, they have a daughter, Indiana.

Karen Fairchild and Jimi Westbrook - Shortly after the formation of the musical group Little Big Town in 1998, the then recently-divorced member Karen Fairchild found support and love in fellow member Jimi Westbrook. The couple got married in a private ceremony on May 31, 2006 and have a son Elijah.

Morgane Hayes and Chris Stapleton - Working at adjoining publishing houses, Stapleton approached Morgane to help out in writing a song. As their relationship blossomed into romance, the couple got married in 2008 and continued to collaborate on several projects, including his hit debut album "Traveller" (2015).

Kacey Musgraves and Misa Arriaga - The "Follow Your Arrow" singer is dating her band's guitarist and close friend Arriaga. Commenting on their relationship in an interview, she said, "We were friends for a couple years at least before seeing each other in that kind of light. It just so happens that we are really inspired by the same things."

Shawna and Keifer Thompson - Under the alias of Thompson Square, the husband-wife couple belted out hits such as "I Got You," "Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not" and "If I Didn't Have You."
