Great duos prove that two is better than one! Some of the famous duos throughout time, like Gene Kelly and Ginger Rogers, Batman and Robin, Bonnie and Clyde or Barbie and Ken -- all prove that. We all have our favourites, and here are a few of mine (and maybe yours). After watching the series Grace And Frankie, I was hooked on the comedic genius of duo Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin. Tomlin and Fonda actually are great friends in real life, which may be why they just work so well together. Besides this series, which ran for 7 seasons, (if you have not seen it, you must if you enjoy a great comedy series with mature actresses and themes) they have worked together several times. Apple+ TV hit series Ted Lasso centers on a professional soccer team, but at its heart is about friendships and connections. In a series full of males, the two main female characters, "40-something" Rebecca (played by Hannah Waddingham) and "20-something" Keeley (played by Juno Temple) form a friendship that is truly inspiring. Their story shows how important intergenerational friendships are and how woman can support each other, guide each other, lift each other, and be happy for each other's successes and there for their failures -- without jealousy or resentment. It's a real credit to the two actresses' talent on conveying this bond, as they just met on the set of the show, but act like they've been friends for years. No duo in the video game industry is more famous than Mario and Luigi, undoubtedly the most famous pair in the entire interactive medium. Although Mario is without question the major figure, it's difficult to imagine a dimension in which Luigi isn't also a character of immeasurable value. Add to that longevity. In an industry that is fairly new, these two have been major players (pun intended) since 1981 (Mario) and 1983 (Luigi) and together as a duo, known as the (Super) Mario Brothers since 2003.
