Bumped your head and now can't remember who you are? Don't worry, a handsome stranger will sweep you off your feet and you'll be happier than ever before! Well, according to movies, at least. In Netflix's new holiday rom-com "Falling for Christmas," Lindsay Lohan plays main character Sierra, a spoiled hotel heiress who experiences a bout of amnesia after a skiing accident. Rami Hashish, a body performance and injury expert, points out many of these types of movies are "dramatizing and making the concept of sustaining a traumatic brain injury and having memory loss to be somewhat sexy." Some viewers are starting to take notice of amnesia plots – and call them out. "It’s so annoying when movies (portray) brain injuries this way. It’s not like that, nothing magical about it," wrote one commenter in response to the New York Times' review of the film. -USAToday
