With the original stage musical running nearly three hours, condensing it into one film proved impossible. Rather than compromise the story or beloved songs, Chu chose to honor the show's two-act structure by creating two full-length movies — Wicked and Wicked: For Good. Do you wish more movies based on books or stage shows would do this, to honour the original story?

Both tracks were composed by the original Broadway composer, Stephen Schwartz. Do you appreciate when movies based on musical theatre adds some original songs to their soundtrack?
