Elsa Lanchester played the Bride as well as Mary Shelly in the book-end parts of the film. Do you think you could live without a "mate", whoever that may be?

The Mummy - 1922 marked the discovery of King Tut's tomb and fascination with ancient Egypt. 1932 brought The Mummy with Boris Karloff playing the duo role of the title creature (Imhotep) and Ardath Bey. Oddly, we never see much of the alive Mummy in this one, less horror than a supernatural thriller. Have you ever seen a mummy in a museum or other locale?

The Creature From the Black Lagoon - countless tales of critters in the depths over the years. This 1954 flick about a "gillman". Ricou Browning played Creech underwater, Ben Chapman on land. For a dude in a rubber suit, thought this design pretty convincing and cool as a kid. This was originally shown in 3-D. Ever watch a 3-D film?
