Results: You May Not Know This Song, But You Know The Artist!

Somebody remarked the other day that all my favourite songs are rather obscure songs by artists. My favourite song by Queen for example, is not Bohemian Rhapsody, We Will Rock You, We Are The Champions, I Want To Break Free or dozens of other popular (and great) songs, but rather a little known song by them called A Winter's Tale, which was written by Freddie Mercury, just two weeks before his death. And I'm a big Queen fan. I don't know why this song resonates with me, but I can listen to it over and over. If you listen to the video, do you like this song?

Tom Petty is one of my all-time favourite artists. I have seen his several times in concert, and his death affected me a lot. My favourite song of his is the lesser-known soft ballad, Wildflowers, from the album of the same name, but never released as a single. I love his music in general, but this is my favourite Petty song. If you are a fellow Tom Petty fan, or just like some of his music, which of these songs was your favourite?

My number one choice for a concert was seeing Florence + the Machine live, and my kids gave me tickets to see her two years ago, a concert that probably was the best I have ever seen. The one disappointment (not unexpected) was that she did not sing my favourite song, Pure Feeling -- a song very few diehard fans even know, but one I consider one of her best. She is best known for the songs Dog Days Are Over, Shake it Out, Between Two Lungs, Howl, Cosmic Love, but the song Pure Feeling usually is never mentioned.
