Right off the bat, when I first saw this, I was pretty sure it was a SNL parody sketch. But, as much as I would have hoped, no, this is a real thing. "Justice For All" is a charity record by former United States President Donald Trump and the J6 Prison Choir, a choir of about 20 men imprisoned for their involvement in the January 6 United States Capitol attack. The profits from the song are dedicated to the legal aid of people incarcerated for the attack. Have you seen the video, or heard the "song" in question?

The song features an echoey version of the "Star-Spangled Banner"—sung by the J6 Prison Choir—interchanged with Trump reciting the Pledge of Allegiance; the song, which runs for 2 minutes and 20 seconds, ends with the J6 Prison Choir chanting "U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!" The inmates were recorded via phone, while Trump recorded his part a few weeks ago. Do you think this is as bizarre as I do?

All profits will go toward the families of people incarcerated for their alleged involvement in the January 6 Capitol attack. Apparently, the recipients will be vetted to ensure that money does not go toward the relatives of someone who assaulted a police officer. The Capitol riot resulted in nine deaths, while more than 1,000 people have been charged for their involvement—nearly 500 of them have pleaded guilty. Do you think this is wrong or perfectly OK?

In keeping with my past surveys on music, although not a remake in any way, shape or form, Metallica released their 4th studio album, back in 1988, called "And Justice For All", with the same named song. The title is a direct reference to the Pledge of Allegiance. This song is over 9 minutes long, so listen only if you want. Are you familiar with this album and song?
