When I was young Music played a big role in our lives. We often had sing a longs, and my father enjoyed playing the piano for the young people who loved to sing. Here are some of our long time favorites

This is a much loved orchestral piece composed by Leroy Anderson in July 1948. "Sleigh Ride" although not originally written for Christmas has so many associations and memories for Christmas. My father would play this piece of music on Christmas Day as a prelude to opening our presents...... Played here by The Boston Pops Orchestra under John Williams. Are you familiar with "Sleigh Ride"?
