1. Real name - Autry DeWalt Mixon Jr., Junior Walker & the All Stars are not yet in the Rock Hall of Fame, but in my opinion should be. Their hits included (I'm a) Roadrunner, Shotgun, based on a poplar dance at that time, and others. My favorite was their 1969 hit What Does It Take - to win your love for me. The sax intro is unmistakable. Junior Walker played sax on the Foreigner hit - Urgent, in the 1980s. He was the consummate, self taught sax player. Here's a link to my favorite.
