Music
Junior Walker & the Allstars was a Motown group formed in the 1960s. They had their own place in Motown sound that took the world of music over with the awesome danceable tunes. They were among a large group of superstars such as the Temptations, the Four Tops, the Jackson 5, little Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, the Supremes, Martha Reeves & the Vandellas, and later Gladys Knight & the Pips. as well as others. Some of which have found their way into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Real name - Autry DeWalt Mixon Jr., Junior Walker & the All Stars are not yet in the Rock Hall of Fame, but in my opinion should be. Their hits included (I'm a) Roadrunner, Shotgun, based on a poplar dance at that time, and others. My favorite was their 1969 hit What Does It Take - to win your love for me. The sax intro is unmistakable. Junior Walker played sax on the Foreigner hit - Urgent, in the 1980s. He was the consummate, self taught sax player. Here's a link to my favorite. If you listened, thanks! Do you think they belong in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame - posthumously ?
