If you are into metal and electronic crossovers, and bad movies, Spawn, the 1997 superhero movie may just fit the bill. Critics widely panned it for its weak plot and dated special effects, but the soundtrack is frequently cited as a redeeming quality, featuring popular collaborations between electronic and metal acts: Metallica, Korn, Slayer, Marilyn Manson, Stabbing Westward, Filter, Soul Coughing, Silverchair and Mansun in collaborations with well-known electronica / techno producers such as The Crystal Method, Roni Size, The Prodigy, DJ Greyboy, Atari Teenage Riot, Moby, Orbital and 808 State. Are you a fan of heavy metal music and/or electronic music?

Empire Records was critically panned and a massive box office flop upon its 1995 release, earning only $303,841 against a $10 million budget. Critics largely dismissed it as a "silly and predictable" teen dramedy with a clattering screenplay, but the soundtrack --a celebrated collection of 1990s alternative pop and rock -- was its one redeeming quality. Many felt the 90s soundtrack was a definitive sampler of the era's music scene. Are you a fan of music from the 90s?
