The popular 1951 hit song "Because of You," famously recorded by Tony Bennett and associated with the early 1950s, was written in 1940 by Arthur Hammerstein (music) and Dudley Wilkinson (lyrics). While written earlier, it became a major breakthrough hit for Bennett in 1951, arranged by Percy Faith. This is such a beautiful song, I loved it sing it with my father.
