In 2023, in response to her having been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, country (largely) singer-songwriter Dolly Parton released Rockstar, a guest-chocked, 30-song opus wherein she remade 21 rock--and thereabouts--oldies and nine original tunes in order to justify, in her mind, her curious inclusion in an establishment honoring figures related to music she had never theretofore recorded (also, her husband was a rock lover). The several tracks I've heard from it didn't impress me positively. Regardless my opinion, have you ever heard any of Parton's rock 'n' roll album?

One of the oldies radio stations from which I hear 1970's American Top 40 rebroadcasts has an especially ecelectic playlist, wherein occasional songs from the current century and decade are interspersed with material from the late 1940's- '90's. Among them are--you guessed?--select tracks from Parton's rock foray, including the origuinal number accompanying this question. Would you expect to hear music from 2023 on an oldies station?
Yes (and I my explain why in a comment)

I recently heard the song included with the previous question in a wee hour of the a.m. after having fallen asleep during the last hour of a '70's AT40 rebroadcast. But I first heard the song in a dream, which took in my bedroom, where in I was swinging what may have been a long-handled axe in a desperate attempt to make music I find really annoying stop. I eventually figured, with great relief, Parton's caterwauling was emanating from my computer speakers. Have you ever had music music you could hear while you were sleeping figure into a dream you were having? (in the interest of saving wear on my ears, included with this question is a Parton song I actually ilke)
Yes (and I may comment on at least one such example)

The unsettling incident with some of Dolly P.'s lesser work isn't the first time i've had music in my ears invade my dreams. The first time I recall, so far as I remember, was in the late 1980's when I was listening to the soul gospel show on the community-sponasored station in my state's capital, fell asleep during a song by influential, (on "secular" soulsters, too) r & b-ish group Commissioned and awakened during a Bobby Brown tune during the urban contenmpo' show that followed, It was during the Brownsong that I dreamed someone was playing with things like xylophone or vibraphone mallets on the heads of four people in African tribal masks lined up up on what looked like the main stage of my state's state fair grounds. I figure fewer Tw'ers are familiar with Commissioned than they are Browm, so I'm including here music by the former. If you've not already, how about sharing an example of music that's played a part in any of your dreams?
Yes, I'll do that.
