Rooster, the 2026 series now playing on HBO/Crave stars Steve Carell is very much like one of my favourite shows of all time, Ted Lasso (both feature Phil Dunster in a supporting role and were co-created by Ted Lasso's Bill Lawrence and Matt Tarses). I enjoyed the theme song so much from the short sample of it I heard every episode that I had to find out more about. it. The song I Played The Fool is sung by former R.E.M. frontman Michael Stipe, and was co-written and produced by the show's composer, Andrew Watt. Since I was always a big R.E.M. fan, that explains why this song appealed to me instantly. If you listen to this song, do you enjoy it?
