Rush is a Canadian rock/prog rock band formed in Toronto in 1968. They are known for their complex compositions and eclectic lyrical motifs. They have been awarded 14 platinum albums and 3 multi-platinum albums in the US and 17 platinum in Canada. Nominated for seven Grammy Awards and won 10 Juno Awards. They were inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 1994 and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013. Music critics consider Rush to be one of the greatest rock bands of all time.
