Loverboy is a Canadian rock band formed in Calgary, Alberta in 1979. Their hits "Working for the Weekend" and "Turn Me Loose" have become arena rock staples and are still heard on many rock stations across the US and Canada. Throughout the 1980's they accumulated numerous hits in Canada and the US, earning four multi-platinum albums and selling millions of records. Their song "Heaven in Your Eyes" was featured in the movie "Top Gun."
