Jeff Healey was a Canadian blues, rock, jazz guitarist, singer, and songwriter whose unique lap-style guitar technique and soulful voice brought him international acclaim. He lost his sight at the age of one due to a rare eye cancer and had to have both eyes removed. He started playing guitar at age 3. He was discovered by guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan.
