Results: Zoe Saldana to Play The Role of Nina Simone!
There has been online debate over whether actress Zoe Saldana should have been cast for the role of Nina Simone in the new biopic “Nina”. Many critics are arguing that Saldana does not resemble the singer and that she is not right for the part. As well, an online petition to boycott the film has already generated 10,000 signatures. In spite of the negative criticism, Saldana says that she “feels very strongly about Nina Simone and this was a story that needed to be told.”
