About Sir George Solti: He was a Hungarian conductor who studied then taught at the Academy till he had to leave during the 2nd World War.Later he returned regularly to his alma mater and now there is a small stage built for the opera students in the Academy named after him.Also there is a monument remembering him beside the Academy.Have you heard about Sir George Solti,the conductor prior to this survey?
