Rainbow High - Eva was born in poverty in the village of Los Toldos, the youngest of five children. In 1934, at the age of 15, she moved to Buenos Aires to pursue a career as a stage, radio, and film actress. This served her later in the way she presented herself to the people of Argentina. Art of the Possible - Eva met Colonel Juan Peron in 1944 during a charity event for the victims of an earthquake in San Juan, Argentina. The pair were married the following year. Juan was elected president of Argentina in June 1946. Typically this song is done on stage as musical chairs, but this version gives a dice game showing Peron's rise to power. Do you tend to feel politics is the "art of the possible", what one can get away with?

High Flying Adored - There is no evidence Che Guevara and Evita met in real life. He serves as narrator and voice of the people, and can be quite biting at times. This tune is more tender, but still lays his thoughts on the line. "So famous, so easily, so soon, is not the wisest thing to be". Do you find this to be the case?

The movie - the musical was released as a film in 1996. Madonna plays the lead with Jonathan Pryce as Peron, and Antonio Banderas as Che. Adaptation I find well done and feel Madonna maybe identified as someone who started a nobody and made it big. Speaking of, have you ever known such a person or consider yourself one?
