Pippin is a 1972 stage musical focusing on the son of Charlemagne in the Middle Ages, though there is little historically accurate about it. Stephen Schwartz did the music and lyrics from a story by Roger O. Hirson. Bob Fosse directed the original Broadway production. Magic to Do - the premise is an acting troupe performing the story, taking on various roles. The 'forth wall' is broken several times acknowledging an audience is watching. Jazz hands is a performer's hands with palms toward the audience and fingers splayed. Do you find the use of hands important in dance?

Glory - Pippin is trying to find his place in life. At one point enters the Crusades with his father and brother, only to find not what he thought. Glory a word used in conjunction with wars / battles, but do you find fighting or winning them that glorious over the death count?
