Rusty - our "hero", a steam engine trying to be relevant when diesel and electric the thing. Got a thing for Pearl we'll meet in a bit. Ever own a vehicle to the point doesn't look great, but still "got it where it counts" as Han Solo would say?

Pearl - an observation car who is a "brand new girl" and wants to find the best engine to give her "locomotion". While I get the passenger car premise needing an engine to pull it, there's a weird male / female aspect. Do women really require a guy to give "locomotion"?
