I could not figure out where the money had come from. My Dad used to hide cash all over the house but he has been gone for 25 years so it couldn't be his stash. Would this puzzle you as much as it did me?

After two weeks of trying to figure this out, I came to the answer. The clue was the cheque. It was dated 2020 which was the year of the Great Lockdown that lasted over three months where I live. It was also the year that my tenant had moved into my upstairs. I believe what happened was that I was unable to put her rent money in the bank. I was also a bit worried about how honest she was. My solution was to hide the money away until after the lockdown. I had totally forgotten about it being in the box. Has this ever happened to you?
