This poll is about commercials. I often use this time to get a snack or go to the bathroom. However, you can only do that so often. I would be more impressed with a company who, instead of paying millions for advertisements, would use that money to lower prices.

The first group is composed of ads that run the same commercial over and over and over until I have almost got it memorized. A car warranty and a lawyers group come to mind. Do you get annoyed having to watch the same commercial over and over? Yes

2. Then there are commercials that run frequently but have different scenarios which they rotate. While these are also annoying, at least they aren't terribly boring. A couple insurance companies come to mind for this category. Do you find these types of commercials more interesting? Yes

3. Some ads try to be "cutesy" or funny. If I am interested in a product, I want to be educated, not entertained. Do you feel this way? Yes

4. If you have read some of my polls or comments, you know that I am deaf. I can hear a little with hearing aids but have trouble understanding. Most TV shows have closed captioning available. However, many commercials do not. Sometimes I don't have any idea what product is being advertised. There is one where people are walking around eating a banana. They are talking, but I have no idea about what. There is a web page, so out of curiosity, I went to it. The commercial is for firearms. I still have no idea what bananas have to do with it. Do you think commercials should have closed captions? Yes
