Earlier in 2026, my former pastor informed me of the the wife of the son of a former fellow congregant of mine has been birthed at least a couple of children for at least one male homosexual couple. Apparently, there's good money in providing a womb for a twosome by whose biological nature actual conception is impossible. If you're a woman, have or would you, essentially, rent your womb to bring a child into the world who would be raised by two men in a homosexual relationship?

As for the husband of the aforementioned woman, whom I considered something of a friend when he and I were members of the same church --though, as he has with our former pastor, he's likely un-friended me on Facebook de to political differences, if he still has an account there--my first thought about him upon learning of his wife's service for men in same-sex coupling is that he must be comfortable with that arrangement (he and his wife have children of their own conception as well). If you're a man with a wife or other female romantic significant other capable of bearing children, would you be pleased with her birthing a child for a male couple?

Analogously for lesbian couples wanting to parent a child, some rely on a man's semen in to impregnate--by non-penile means, likely--one half of a couple. The only case of this coming to my mind is that of late Byrds and Crosby, Stills & Nash (& Young) member David Cosby donating his genetic material to conceive the child raised by singer Melissa Etheridge and her then-partner, Julie Cypher. Whether you're a woman who identifies as lesbian or a heterosexual woman married to a man, would you want to birth any children sired by a man who, as was the case for the girl raised by Etheridge and Cypher, has no part in parenting the child conceived by his sperm?

If you're a male Tellwutter and knew a lesbian couple desirous of rearing a child, would you, without having sex with either woman in that couple, donate your seed to the conception of a child those women would raise with no parental input from you?
