At a recent get together I attended of men reading the Bible and praying for each other, I noticed at least five guys wearing clothes prominently displaying their manufacturers' brands (two Adidas, two Under Armour, one Columbia). That I took note of that detail brought to mid how I have very little of such branded clothing, and certainly none that I'd bought new. Whether you enjoy doing so or not, do you enjoy wearing clothing the brand of which is prominently displayed for others to see?

Thinking about why I'm not fond of wearing brand-marked clothing, I came to the conclusion that I don't like doing so for a reason similar to why I don't like bagging my own purchases at a grocery store self-checkout: why should I do a job some else should be (ideally) paid to do?! Whether or not you agree, do you se my point?

To further the analogy I make in the previous question, if someone asks me the brand of clothing I'm wearing I'm probably gong to share that information. But, my thought is that if a clothing company's product is so great, they should make its brand so prominent, pervasive, and persuasive as to sell me on their product that I see a brand logo in order to be made aware of the brand. Are you with me on that?

I might make an exception for my branded clothing aversion were there a brand of clothing whose logo I appreciate aesthetically enough to want to wear it because I like its look (if that sentence was a syllogism, sorry!). No such brands come to my mind while I'm composing this poll, certainly none of the brands I mentioned in the first question. Are there any clothing brands whose logos you like enough to wear to show them off?
