Two years ago, the National Post first published the above video. After tens of thousands of views and an avalanche of online support, it is clear that the Kerr's Molasses Kiss is a blight on everything decent and good about Halloween. This year, just like every Halloween since at least the 1960s, thousands of Canadian trick-or-treaters will be cursed to come home and find a handful of Kerr's molasses kisses, the worst candy in Canada. Haters even started an online campaign called "End the scourge: This Halloween, only the righteous can stop the Kerr's Molasses Kiss". Do you remember getting this candy in your Halloween treat bag and what did you think?
Yes, and definitely a trick!

Kerr's representatives have begun to emerge from the shadows to defend their product in public. "Molasses Kisses are a Canadian Halloween tradition, it's one of the great tastes of the season," Kerr's president Ryan Martic says. In addition, a Kerr's Twitter account now combs the internet, challenging all those who rightly question the persistence of their wretched creation. Kerr's even launched a new campaign marketing their Kerr's Molasses Kisses as a "peanut-free" alternative. Now, these rather chewy candies are not the only "bad" Halloween treats that people hand out. How many of these do you remember getting and NOT liking very much?
