The blog wrote an article that called into question local restaurants welcoming Portnoy, and noted “revolting allegations” that have been made against him. Multiple women have accused Portnoy of sexual misconduct, which he has denied. Portnoy is known for his pizza reviews and has over 4 million Instagram followers, so Toronto pizzerias jumped at the chance to have him review their products. BlogTO contacted these restaurants to make them aware of the allegations and wrote an article about it, which upset Partnoy.
