Members here may have noticed I sometimes mention a restaurant / bar near me I like to go. That locale is a franchised place called "Quaker Steak". As the name suggests, this was founded in Pennsylvania in 1974, play on the motor oil brand.

The food- despite the name, place is known for its chicken wings. Many sauces or dry rubs to choose from. Even sell these for use at home. Varied menu though, and can get a steak. That said, do you like chicken wings as a food?

The décor - automotive of course, but the one by me in the same lot as a Harley Davidson dealer. Bike nights certain times of year. Don't care much about vehicles or the sports shown, but like the look. Cycles hanging from the ceiling, photos, auto parts and tools. Not to mention random stuff from over the years. Do you enjoy restaurants with "funky décor"?

The locals - a few a-holes, but most fine folk. Got my little band I hang with. Running jokes such as "turd wranglers", "Twenty dollars is twenty dollars", and others. Do you have running jokes with your friends?
