I've had two separate people at two separate times tell me they would choose to take a pill to get all their nourishment and fulfillment if it were available; both claiming *eating* takes too much time and effort. This shocked me! I grew up socializing around meals, swapping recipes with friends, saying grace. Meals, to me, were an essential part of socialization, life...Until, I had an accident and broke my jaw in three different places. Now, I understand just wanting for a pill. If given the choice, would you prefer the option of just taking a pill over having to actually eat?

4. I grew up saying grace, and having to *excuse ourselves* from the table. To my parents horror, I passed neither of these strict traditions on to my own children. Did you grow up with these rules as well? Did you pass them on? (Multiple answers allowed.)

We said grace, but did not need to excuse ourselves from the table.
