3. The answer is all of the above. I suffered a Pulmonary Embolism in 2017. I spend 7 days in the CCU because of it. My own doctor did not even know what was happeninng, said my lungs were just sore, said I was good to return to work, that night started vomiting up blood, went to the hospital admitted on the spot. I now will be on medication for the rest of my life, I lost half of my right lung. The pain from a PE is unbearable feels like you have been kicked in the chest, does not stop. I also have an irregular heart beat which is also for life and I have been declared disabled, unfit to return to the work force. My message to you, if you have these symptons please get them checked out, don't wait, go to the hospital.
