Results: 57% of Americans aren't honest with their dentist

"I floss every day!"—it's one of the most common little white lies told in dentist offices across the country. But according to a recent survey, many of us aren't as truthful as we'd like to think. A study of 2,000 Americans, conducted by Talker Research on behalf of Aspen Dental, revealed that 57% have admitted to stretching the truth about their dental hygiene during checkups.
