1. My friend went to the dentist to have impressions taken for a crown, there were some minor complications during the procedure and additionally a small cavity was found. An appointment was made a few weeks later for the crown placement and to fill the cavity. However, she was so unhappy with the treatment she received during the appointment she called the receptionist to see if she could change her appointment and see another dentist in the practice. The receptionist said that is not possible because the same dentist that does the impressions has to also place the crown. So, she goes back to the original dentist, who unfortunately the receptionist must have told the Dentist that my friend didn't want to see him again and that pissed him off. He places the crown but refuses to fill the cavity and bans her from the practice. She is now having pain with the crown and the cavity that was left unfilled. Do you think that the dentist handled this correctly?
