I was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 kidney disease which was a huge shock to me. Kidney disease means your kidneys are damaged and cannot filter blood as they should. It is often called a "silent killer" because it typically shows no symptoms in its early stages. The two leading causes are diabetes and high blood pressure.
