I am on a fixed income and can't afford extra medical care, so I haven't been to the eye doctor in about a decade. Unfortunately, my glasses broke in half, and nobody is fixing them until I go to the ophthalmologist to get a new eyeglass prescription essentially holding my eyesight hostage.
