I was diagnosed with this condition a month ago and the doctor said I need to get a cortisone injection. Unfortunately I have to have an ultrasound before getting the injection and my appointment for that is Aug 31 and then the cortisone injection will be sometime after that. It is so frustrating waiting since I have limited use of my left hand/arm and I am in constant pain. I have to put ice on my wrist multiple times a day and take ibuprophen daily just to function. Have you ever been diagnosed with this condition?

Do you have any advice on how to make it easier dealing with this while waiting for a resolution? I have tried using a splint but that causes it to hurt more. Please put advice in comments if you have any. Thanks.
