Results: Medication - to take it or not

Have you noticed that there are so many kinds of presription and non-prescription medications advertised in the media these days, but almost everyone has some sort of drawback. Have you noticed these advertisements?

Seems like every pill out there will certainly cure what ails you but you may experience a ton of different side effects. Would that bother you to where you would not want to take the medication?

If you were already taking some medication and were experiencing one of the side effects, would you take another pill to fix that problem knowing that yet another new side effect might occur?

There are people out there now who have serious illnesses and are one multiple kinds of medication. But all of them seem to be prescribed to fix the side effect that is happening from the medication taken to fix the problem. Example: take meds A for illness take meds B for side effect from meds A then take meds C for side effects from meds B side effects and now you have developed a new illness because your body cant handle meds A and C together. Wouldnt that be enough to make you not want to take anything?

Do you wish pharmacies or companies who create these meds could somehow come up with something that could be prescribed without all these confusing and complicated problems that arise?

Many people have to take these medications because their illness is so severe it could be life threatening or debilitating. Do you think more money should be used to research this subject first rather than used to just make a new quick fix?
