Some possible treatments for plantar fasciitis are: Physical therapy (i.e.) stretches three or more times a day; orthotics or shoe inserts (special arch supports) to distribute the weight on the foot more evenly; or night splints, which holds the plantar fascia and Achilles tendon in a lengthened position overnight and facilitates stretching.
