Ben Carter is 14 years old, and has severe autism. Ever since he was two years old, he would only drink from a sippy cup, which has started to fall apart. Because of his severe autism, and limited understanding, Ben will not drink from anything else, and has refused to drink at his school or anywhere else without this particular cup. His parents managed to find another cup a few years ago, but the cup has not been manufactured for several years, and his parents are fearful that the cup will soon completely fall apart. Their son refuses to drink from anything else, and has even ended up in the hospital because he refused to drink. So, his parents took to social media to see if they could locate this cup. If you know any autistic children, do they have particular idiosyncrasies or specific items that they must use or have?

Tommee Tippee, the manufacturer of the sippy cup in the U.K., found out about the social media campaign to locate the cup, and did a little research until they found the original factory that manufactured the cup, which has not been manufactured for 10 years. They located the mould, and sent the Carters not one, or two cups...but 500 cups, so it is guaranteed that Ben will always have his cup. Do you agree that the company went above and beyond for this boy?
