Results: R.I.P. Pioneer Cabin
The Pioneer Cabin tree was a 1000 year old giant Sequoia in northern California. A tunnel was cut through its base 137 years ago to attract tourists to the Calaveras Big Trees State Park region. Over the past weekend, a powerful winter storm toppled the old landmark.
