Part 3 in the living room portion of my survey about homes. This is about how we decorate our living spaces. Since many people have more than one (living room vs. family room, etc.) please answer for the one that is most formally decorated in that case.
1. What colour are your living room walls?
Not applicable - patterned wallpaper or stippled paint
Different walls have colours
Red shades (including pink and terra cotta)
Orange shades (including rust)
Yellow shades (including gold and ochre)
Purple shades (including violet, lavender and magenta)
3. What style or period is the decor?
Eclectic: well thought out mix of items of different styles
Traditional: no specific time period but classic old-fashioned styling
Transitional: somewhat modern furnishings with traditional elements
Contemporary or modern: Spare, generally linear lines
Modern Eurostyle: Furnishings in a modern style with lots of curves, typically sold by stores or decorators specializing in this style
Period or geographical style: French provincial, Southwestern, Colonial to give examples
Whatever junk I can afford or buy used
What period? I want my friends to look at my furniture and drop dead, period!

5. How do you vary the decor seasonally?
I don't, always the same unless I replace something or redecorate
