Growing herbs is also fun, and profitable. You can grow your own and use them at home, both for cooking and for preserving. I have them on my kitchen windowsill, in Winter, and outside in Summer. Cooking with fresh herbs is lovely,and using dried herbs that you've grown yourself feels great- do you agree? Sure.
