For reasons I won't articulate here, a friend recently gave me car rides to places I'd have otherwise gone myself in my own car. Have you ever had other people give you rides after you'd gotten your driver's license? Yes

This friend didn't take me any more than 30 miles from our town, but he often drove me to and from wherever it was we went by way of routes I'd not have thought to go myself, if I even knew the roads he took would get us to where I had to be. Do you like going to places you have to be by ways that may not be the most direct but provide you fresh and different views on your trips?
