I recently helped organize a church rummage sale. The community and church members donated items to be sold to raise money for the church to use to help fund community projects. I feel I should mention I'm not a member of this church nor a follower of this religion.

One lady stood out at both last years sale and this years. She took car loads of items and only donated a few dollars (less than $10 both years). This year she brought 2 other people with her and all 3 walked out with loads of stuff saying that "she" had already paid once so didn't need to pay again. Even though the sale was take what you want and leave a donation, I feel she took advantage. Do you agree? Yes, someone else may have wanted some of the items and paid more for them

At the other end of the spectrum there was a gentleman that only took one small item and left $50. Have you ever gave a large donation just to help the cause. Yes
